Christina Ross: traveling the world

Christina Ross during her recent trip to Europe.

Christina Ross recently went abroad this summer with the EF College break, a tour company specifically for students aged 18 to 26. She was able to visit Ireland, Wales, England, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Monaco, Italy, and Spain. Anyone who has ever met Christina know that this trip was a well deserved break and learning experience for her. She has a deep interest in ancient studies and will be studying abroad in the Spring as part of her Humanities Scholarship program!

Stephanie Layne: Aiming High

Stephanie Layne (sisterhood chair/sunshine chair) has been selected as a Hillel PNEI intern for the fall semester. That stands for peer network engagement intern.

This brand new program at UMBC is dedicated to reaching out to uninvolved Jewish students and showing them resources for Jewish life on campus.

She will be attending a national conference in St. Louis during the 3rd week of August as a representative for UMBC.

Steph is a great example of Phi Sigs reaching out to the community and making a difference.
