Congrats, Gamma Pi!

The sisters of Gamma Pi officially had the highest GPA of PHA sororities for the Spring 2010 semester. We also had the 2nd highest GPA in all of Greek Life.

We take our scholarship program very seriously and all of our hard work pays off! Our core value of Life Long Learning is something every sister strives to live to the fullest.

Congrats, Sayeh!

Sayeh Saidi (Formal Co-Chair) is now the Vice President of Jr PHA. After assuming the position in the middle of the semester, Sayeh has to put together a program in only a few weeks. The sisters of Gamma Pi are flexible and determined and we are confident that Sayeh is going to do a great job!

Life Long Learning

Gamma Pi held our 2nd Life Long Learning Event last week, hosted by the lovely Beta Tau class. Sisters were paired with their Study Buddy, a sister in a similar major, as part of our scholarship program and spoke about their majors and plans for after graduation.

Life Long Learning is a core value of Phi Sigma Sigma and something the Gamma Pi chapter takes very seriously. Through this event, sisters learned about areas of study outside of their discipline and the personal connections each sister has to their academic goals.

Gamma Pi is always seeking new ways to learn and live our core values. Great job, Beta Tau for your great efforts!

Rock-A-Thon Fall 2010

Hannah Dier (Archon) rocks during a late night shift.

The sisters of the Gamma Pi chapter raised $384.86 to donate to the National Kidney Foundation during the Fall 2010 Rock-A-Thon. The sisters also hosted a bake sale throughout the day that included homemade goodies like pumpkin spice cookies and cheesecake bars.

Thanks to all of the alumnae who made it out to help us rock and Steph Pully, the Philanthropy Chair, for all of her hard work.
