New Billhighway option!

Attention all active Phi Sig's!

There is a new feature on Billhighway that will make dues easier to pay! There is a new feature on Billhighway called "Pay Now." This new feature is designed for parents who wish to pay their daughter's dues. It is a one time payment that does not save their credit card information or bank account number which makes it more secure and reliable! It is specifically for instances where parents want to pay for their daughter's dues but do not want to have their credit card saved or have to write a check for a deposit into their daughter's account and the best part of all ; NO CREDIT CARD FEE!  This is a new feature and so there may be some tweaks to work out, but anything that could make the process easier we're all for!

If anyone wants to learn more about this or has any questions about where to find this feature, feel free to contact the current Gamma Pi Bursar, Colleen Bieberich. Her email is bieber1@umbc.edu!

Looking forward to a great new semester! Thanks for the updates on making this an easier experience Colleen!

4k All The Way!

Service has always been a very important part of Phi Sigma Sigma. Whether it's been raising money for the National Kidney Foundation through Rock-a-thon or our own local philanthropy; the Howard County Autism Society, Gamma Pi has always given back to the community. This year two of our very own are giving back this summer through the organization 4k for Cancer !

4k for Cancer is a program of the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults.  The main component of this program is a 70 day, 4000 mile bike ride across the country during the summer. Along the way the riders stop in various towns and cities and give back to the community through various forms of community service.

Emma Mountcastle
The brave and strong Phi Sig lady that is aiming high and going on this adventure is Emma Mountcastle!!

Emma will be traveling from Baltimore to San Diego this summer. She has her own webpage where you can see her biography and reason for participating, as well as how her fundraising goal is going! She needs to raise $5000 before her journey. We will also be tracking her progress over the summer and include pictures of her journey!

Way to aim high and test yourself! We're all so proud of you!

So Much To Tell!

Hello Ladies!

My name is Natalie Welch and I am the new face of the Parent/ Alum committee! I am a Sophomore at UMBC and I am a Psychology Major with a double minor in Political Science and Sociology. I joined last spring and it was certainly one of the best decisions I have ever made. But, you all already know what this sorority contributed to your life!

The Parent/ Alum committee has continued to evolve over the years. With this position I promise to increase communication with the alumnae, create opportunities for the active sisters to meet the alumnae, and encourage the parent's of our sisters to become more involved. With that promise comes a request; I need email addresses, ones that AREN'T UMBC emails! I want to prevent any confusion in the future from emails bouncing back. Please send them to me at phisigalumnirelations@gmail.com. Even if you think that I have it, PLEASE SEND IT AGAIN! :D

I realize that our alum are the backbone of Gamma Pi and without all of you, it wouldn't be the chapter that it is now. I appreciate you, and whether it has been shown recently or not, the rest of the chapter appreciates you as well. I promise to keep everyone informed and involved. Just because you graduated  does not mean that you are no longer in this sorority. Once, Always, Forever does not mean Once and only while you are in school.

We WANT you to come to our upcoming events, obviously you can come if you would like but we truly would love to see all of you and we would appreciate your help with recruitment; after all you know what and who makes this sorority great <3 br="br" nbsp="nbsp">

MARK YOU CALENDARS!

Bid Day: February 13th!
Revelation: March 1st!
Rock-a-thon: March 4-5th!
