Maria Satyshur (SDC/ parent and alumni relations chair), Angelica Demiris, Hannah Dier (Archon), Heather Jones, Liz Walters (PHA Delegate/fundraising co-chair), and Christina Ross all pinned their female relatives.Gamma Pi held a mother pinning ritual on Saturday. Six sisters pinned their mothers, aunts, grandmothers, and sisters. By opening the ritual to female relatives other than mothers, we are able to share our love and dedication to Phi Sig and attributing our abilities to the support of our family members. In the Fall, the Gamma Pi chapter plans to hold a Father ritual that has recently been implemented by other chapters to show our appreciation as well.
These women have shown us how to be strong and determined women. They are examples of what a Phi Sig should be and we will forever cherish them.
